The Great Divide

As Old Media continue sobbing about how divided we are, the two county maps below show where that divide is. Had Kerry won, I kinda doubt that the MSM would be bemoaning the divide.

Following the maps are the presidential election results for the past 60 years. No county maps available for those years .. or none that I could find.

A map making its rounds throughout the left side of the blogosphere compares the current divide with the slave states and free states of the Civil War era.

The county maps below give the lie to that.
